We have a lot of exciting things coming up as we prepare for, compete at, then celebrate and decompress from the end of a great ISL season. Here’s a preview of what’s ahead:
PRACTICES will resume at the normal times this week, though the coaches will start to taper the workouts so our swimmers save their best for ISL Champs.
Our SPIRIT (PASTA) PARTY – for swimmers and their immediate family – will be held on Friday, August 5 from 4:30 to 6:30pm at the Competition Pool. Dinner will be picnic style so bring your towels, blankets, lawn chairs and EZ Ups/canopies for some shade. All children should be accompanied by an adult and no swimming or horseplay will be allowed. Please do not drop off your child(ren) or leave them unsupervised. We highly recommend that all swimmers turn in early and get a good night’s sleep.
Our YEAR END PARTY will be held on Sunday, August 7 from 1:00 to 4:00pm at the Competition Pool. Lunch will be served at 1:00pm. The trophy and awards ceremony will begin at 2:00pm. There will be activities planned after the ceremony and water play is allowed if your child is accompanied by a parent. Parents are liable for their child(ren) safety at all times.
Please RSVP for the Spirit Party and the Year End Party here before Tuesday, August 2. (You may need to use your computer, rather than your phone, to access the rsvp sheet.)
ISL CHAMPS will be on Saturday, August 6 at Woollett. More details to come.
Remember, we are the defending Division I Champions and will need all swimmers to carb-up and hydrate, rest early and conserve energy on Friday night for an early Saturday morning start at Champs.
Let’s go Waves!
